gnocchi with a creamy sage white wine sauce.



ingredients

6 oz package gnocchi

4 tbs butter

4 garlic cloves minced

1/2 c white wine

1 c cream

1 tsp vegetable better than bouillon

1/2 c parmesan

2 tbs flour

1 tbs chiffon cut sage

1 tsp salt

1 tsp white pepper

fresh sage to garnish


instructions

bring a pot of water to a boil. add gnocchi and cook according to package instructions. drain and set aside.

melt butter in a pan over medium heat. add garlic and chiffon sage saute for 30 seconds. add flour and cook for 3 more minutes.

add wine in the pan and allow to cook down for 2 minutes.

add cream, vegetable bouillon, parm to the pan and whisk constantly until smooth and bubbly. add salt and white pepper to taste, then gently combine gnocchi.


serve with fresh sage and more parmesan.
